SANTA!!!

Santa is coming!! December the 7th starting at 2:00 I will be holding private sessions with Santa.

Bring the kids out either in their Sunday best or their snuggly pjs. Each session will last 10-15 minutes, so we will have time to capture all of the priceless moments between your child and Santa.

Call now and avoid the mall! You get nothing but long lines and maybe three minutes with Santa.

Oh...and be sure the children bring their Christmas list with them. You are also more than welcome to bring some cookies for Santa and the children to share.

All sessions are by appointment only. You will receive 2 8x10s, 2 5x7s and 8 wallets for only $75.00. This must be paid when calling to reserve your date and time.

All appointments need to be made by Thursday, November the 20th. I need to know how long to have Santa here on the 7th.

Christmas!!!

You can always tell when I am swamped. My blog posts get few and further in between! Things are crazy busy around here!!! Thank you to everyone who is keeping me busy!!! :

Now...it is time to think about Christmas!!! I have already held several of my Christmas sessions. I have just a few samples to show you. If you are wanting something similiar to these done-act fast because this set is only available now through this Saturday...November the 22nd.
The cost of this session is $75.00. This covers your sitting fee and also gives you a $50 printing credit. The session fee is cut in half. This is to be paid when calling to reserve your date and time.

Exciting Additions

I just returned from our cruise to the Bahamas. We all had such a good time. I actually managed to keep my mind off of work enough to just relax and just take some time off with my family~this is not an easy task for me to just shut my mind off. :) But...on the way home I had a good eight hours to just think and think and think and really put all of these ideas of mine together!
I am so excited about what is to come with the company. I will be adding some new products. I will now be offering custom frames. I will have samples available soon. For example-say we do a photo shoot with your little girl in an adorable tutu and you need just the perfect 12x12 sized frame to finish the print. This is not the easiest size to come across and when you do find one it is not normally anything other than your basic black. I will be offering a variety of color combinations, complete with embelleshments and even the name of your little one if you wish. I don't plan to stop there. Basically, I want to be able to offer you everything that you will need to complete your photos...frames, easles, wall racks etc. Some of you probably wish I had started this much sooner and maybe you would have that picture I did for you three months ago in a frame by now!! :)
I also will be designing my very own tutus!! I use these for alot of my photoshoots. You will now have the option to purchase your very own tutu for your little princess. I will have samples and all of the details soon. I plan to get started right away so I will have some available for your little ones as a special Christmas gift.
These are just a few of the new things that I will be adding. As always thank you so much for your continued support.
I will be posting the dates and times for Christmas Photo Sessions soon. You can choose between a private session with Santa Claus or "the night before Christmas". "The night before Christmas" photo session will not include Santa, rather-we will be doing pajama pics around the tree, shaking presents, leaving cookies for Santa, and getting a story read by Dad to name a few of the ideas. If you wish to have the more traditional, formal Chrismas photo with the holiday outfits with the tree etc. in the background, this will be available as well. More details to come by the end of the week!

Tom Glavine

So....yesterday I did the Tom Glavine charity golf event. I really had so much fun. Not everyone there was a celebrity. Just a bunch of people getting together to support a good cause.

All proceeds benefited the CURE. This is an organization based in Atlanta and they are working for children with childhood cancer. Please check out their website.

This group is truly amazing. I was able to enjoy the speeches given by a few of the parents who had actually lost their child to this battle but still, they are determined to help find a cure. If I understood them correctly, the cure rate has risen quite dramtically. What was once in the 20% percentile is now at a 78% survival rate. Those numbers offer a lot of hope...however...I would not want to be the mommy of the losing 22% and this is why they continue to work so hard to raise money for research and raise our awareness for public support.

It was a very good day. Lots of wonderful, friendly people and it felt so good to be able to use HIS gift for HIS glory. The pictures I did yesterday were my least favorite that I have ever done just in terms of not being able to be fun or creative-it was simply one group shot after another but they are probably by far the most important, selfless photos that I have ever done and that makes my long day yesterday worth every minute of it.

Thank you so much Elesha for getting me involved with this group. I hope to be able to offer my time, talent and heartstrings again next year.

Andrew

I really enjoyed my newborn session with Juli and Robby. I have been shooting for years but nothing makes me more nervous than a photoshoot with a newborn!! I have just recently started offering these newborn sessions to my clients and I have been so pleased with what we have created. Andrew was four weeks old picture day-I could not have asked for a more cooperative baby!!! He was just adorable. I'm sure that mom and dad will treasure these photos for ever and ever.

"THESE ARE GIRL SHOES!!!"

I have a cute story to share with you. Monday evening we loaded the boys up into daddys truck to head to football practice. I followed them in my van because my husband had to leave straight from ball practice to go to North Carolina for a business trip. We must have asked our middle son Devin about 20 times to put his shoes on. Well when we got to practice he decided to put on some flip flops that he found in the floor of the truck rather than his shoes-no big deal-at least he had shoes on!! lol!

So....Tuesday morning rolls around and I am searching the house frantically for Devins shoes. Keep in mind that we just moved into this house so all of my "extra" shoes are in a box somewhere that I have not unpacked yet. Finally I realized that the shoes must be in Daddys truck. So I grabbed a pair of shoes out of my oldest sons closet and put those Devin. They should fit him in about a year and a half...lol!! I was desperate!!

Devin comes home from school and says that his shoes were too loose all day-poor baby!! Danny will not be home until Thursday evening so I take Devin and Dylan to the shoe store next to WalMart while Daniel is at football practice. I didn't want anything to expensive because I just bought him a brand new pair of $55.00 sketchers. That is a lot for a six year old right??!! So I find these cute little shoes that will look perfect with his cacky and blue shorts with the collared shirts-he needed some anyways. His tenneshoes are black and some other odd color-but he LOVED them. He tells me in the store that these are "girl" shoes. I was too tired to argue and we had already tried on about five pairs so I bought them anyway and continued to assure him that these were in fact BOY shoes. I also went ahead and bought a pair for my youngest son Dylan.

This morning he was sitting there half asleep as I put his "girl shoes" on and he looks down at his shoes while he is rubbing his sleepy eyes and says just so casually-"yup...I'm telling you...these are girl shoes." I just laughed to myself and told him how nice he looked. Dylan is not quite as polite as Devin. He tossed his to the side and said-"I aint wearin girl shoes" Hmmm...should we work on the manners or the grammar first?? :)

I asked Devin to tell me all about his day and he says-

"Well-it all started on the bus. I told this girl next to me that these shoes look like girl shoes but really they are boy shoes. But she looked at them and said-nope-they are girl shoes. But then I told her that girls don't wear blue but she looked at them again and said they were girl shoes."

Dylan cuts in and says-"Im not wearing those shoes mommy because then everyone will say-Dylans wearing girl shoes, Dylans wearing girl shoes."

These boys were cracking me up!! So-basically I spent $36.00 on shoes that will never be worn again but how can you put a price on this story and these pictures? They were making me laugh so hard!!!

Daddy will be home tomorrow and Devin can get his sketchers back. I think I will send his daddy to the store with him to pick out a pair that will match his little blue and cacky shorts!!
